hello,

I hear these things are harder than Bronze Bullets to locate,
anyone know other than synthing and AH of obtaining a ready supply of these,

I have a lvl67 RDM sugar daddy that is funding my mnk,
so any mob that can be harvested would be nice

I've mined more pebbles than anything else...especially in Gusgen Mines...

with a thf, you can steal them off of worms.

In other words, there's no easy, simple way to get them.

Edit: Mining, especially in Gusgen, is never easy. There's tons of competition, meaning on most servers you can easily go 5-10 minutes per even FINDING an open mining spot, which may break anywhere from 0-5 pickaxes before you even get anything out of it. After that, you have to hope you get what you want. I don't know about Gusgen, but in Yughott you can get anywhere from 1 to something like 17 pebbles when they pop up, but there's no way to guarantee you'll get them.

If you're mining for profit in Gusgen, you will be there for hours; hence, you'll get plenty of space-wasting pebbles (which are only 12 to a stack, if they were 99, it wouldn't be so bad). Personally, and some may not agree with me, I feel that monk is not suited to the role of puller simply because they do not have an inexhaustible ranged attack available to them (boomerang). Hence, I would not bother with pulling as monk. To each his own, I guess.

like djplayskool said go mining in gusegen. you can get 12 stacks of pebbles very easily, while making a profit on darksteel and gold. iron ore too unless u decide pebbles are more valuable >.>

If you don't mind spending a few gil, stacks sell very cheap at Bastok AH; kinda figures since its a mining nation. Or you could just randomly ask miners in certain mining areas or in your ls to get donate them to you when they are out mining.

If its just a start to increasing throwing skill get a boomerang for your sub and constantly spam ranged attack. Was faster to lvl up with the sub than with my mnk. Coz it sometimes seems odd (and painfully boring) to see a lvl38 mnk spamming ranged attack on Terror Ram with a stack of pebbles.

True on the Pebbles and Voke/Chi Blast. I do not like being Puller as Boostx11/12 and Chi Blast is 150-300 Instant Damage. If I have to pull, I grab a few stacks of pebbles from AH. Selling Items made from EXP PT brings the cost down slightly, guess Its time to grab my buddies thf and Steal some pebbles in Qufim.

Just go mining without any gear =)

Yughott is the least popular mining area on pandemonium (at least back when I used to mine). Got 2-3 stacks of pebbles on each run (brought 4 stacks of pickaxes with me though). You can dig several pebbles together.

umm i steal pebbles all the time but i throw them away. are they worth alot? :sweat:
