Just got to lvl 36 this past weekend and with the new Chakra ability, i was wondering, what stats is this ability based on?

Right now chakra can heal 88hp, but once every 5 minutes, that's not much. Is there a way i can switch equipment out to change my stats to make it more useful? (ie if i do an /equip "justice badge" or something)

Also, does using chakra in battle draw aggression?

Chakra is based on Vitality. It starts out as VIT x2, so if you're being healed for 88, you have 44 VIT I assume.

With the AF gear, Chakra's formula becomes VIT x3.

Chakra isn't ever useful as a "quick" heal, but rather much more useful to remove enfeebles (Blind, Poison) and save WHM some stress.

so equipping something that boost vit temporarily will make it more powerful. thanks, that's what i was looking for

about aggression. . . i assume it must create at least SOME aggression, but is it significant?

It is a HP restoring move, but dosen't have a lot of hate until you get your AF body. At 61 I can restore 220 HP with Chakra, and if I have been doing a lot of damage in the battle so far, the mob may turn to be for a few hits after a Chakra (but usually not for long).

honestly ever since i turned 51 and got double attack and kick using chakra after a ws is often times enuff to turn the mob...

so yes there is a modest amount of hate drawn for using the ability

as a mithra i equip my warbelt +1 and rse gloves on top of my happy egg for +8vit or so... maybe +9 can't recall atm... anyway, crank out about 100hp chakra at 38ish i think at 40 i get 110 or so... and it draws hate like a normal cure... i only use it if a pt is asking me to tank ; ;

I agree with the last poster. Perhaps if you're soloing
and unelss you have the inventory space, you can
do /equip macros to quickly change your equipment
to VIT+ items for a boosted chakra. Some of you
may find it a waste of inventory space, but as a Hume,
I like the 154+ heal plus taking away blind/poison.
