Anyone else as happy as I am?
Monks have just been majorly boosted in this patch, as our main "con" when fighting end-game mobs was that we enable the enemy mob to earn too much TP to unleash deadly attacks.
Now the damage-over-time kings will never have to hold back, all thanks to beautiful Subtle Blow (less TP given to mob).
Furthermore, Asuran Fists can now be used again NM, HNMs, and the like with seemingly relative impunity. Before, the WS was considered a "NO" vs. these mobs for the massive TP it gave to them, but combined with the WS Nerf (which also affects enemy TP gain) and Subtle Blow, all I have to say is "hell yeah." TP gain isn't an issue for a Monk, so the nerf doesn't affect us the way it does other, slowly attacking classes. I'm glad Dark Knights were hit (egotistical bastards), though I do feel bad for Dragoons. Atleast Samurai are back in the forefront as TP-gain multi-WS masters.
Go Monks!
