STR or Attack?

I've heard the following:

STR, along with your weapon damage, increases your maximum damage, while attack determines the liklihood you'll reach that threshhold. For a Mithra MNK, which is more important? I have a rather large amount of +STR gear. Should I carry two sets, use +attack regularly, and use +STR when Berserked?

Hmm.. not too sure but I believe STR+ raises minimum damage not max.

I'm pretty sure you're gonna need both STR and Attack equipment. Because you can't just raise the curve without raising the average and viceversa. I don't know how much the +STR to +Attack ratio should be though. I would really like to know myself.

Well I'm a fan of as much +STR as I can get.... The Plus ATK is just so common, and comes easier...

Even as a elvaan monk I focus on +STR before +acc...
