H2H Attack Type?

Do claws, knuckles, cesti and hooks have different types of attack attributes like slashing, piercing, blunt, etc...?

I was just wondering if I should carry different types for different mob...

AFAIK, no. they are all treated the same.

They are all blunt, unfortunately. Variation in weapon attribute would be very useful for MNK, especially the levels where everyone fights crabs... However, it would also cause a great deal of grief for weapon skills...
