Well i'm 25/12 now as a mnk thief I didn't have any major trouble finding parties in Quifim, not that I noticed at least. I do have current equipment which I'm sure does help me out quite a bit.
Of course until I hit 30 I can't really give much of an opinion on mnk/thf, most mnks I see are subbing warrior, though if I see another mnk who has warrior subbed but his warrior is only level 5 I'll throw up. But I guess do what you want to do just seems silly.
My outlook for now besides farming is subbing war till 30 then trying out thief to see what its like and eventually moving up to Samurai at higher levels. But that's a way's down the road.
