i was wondering what weapons you all would recomend till lvl 30... thnx ahead of time

Imo damage > delay. A +51 weapon and a +42 weapon have a .11 second difference in delay . I think that's lynx and cougar...but cougar has ice damage effect. I used both and like cougar. Off the top of my head I can't remember if there is a weapon between them and impact knuckles but if not I'd stick with cougar till Impact.

what weapon to use at lvl [insert lvl here], till you can use this weapon at lvl [insert lvl here]... thanks to anyone who can help me out

They why in other posts to people talk about Tropical Cestis with + Str equipment is better than high damage h2h with high delay?

I am just trying to get a grip on which is better. I think more hits in a battle would be way better, even though if they were somewhat lower. Just my opinion.

so far i've been using the Cesti's, cause they have +1 dmg, accuracy +3, and only 48 delay, instead of the Cat Baghnakhs which have a 60 delay, and +2 dmg and no accuracy bonus... and i was wondering if that was a wise decision, and i was also wondering what weapon i should use next, should i use the bronze knuckles at lvl 5 which have +2 dmg, 96 delay, and accuracy +2? or should i just wait till lvl 9 and get the brass knuckles? ...... i'm just rather unsure of this stuff, my 1st monk, would a weapon with high dmg and high delay be better then a weapon with lower dmg and a lower delay? might be easier to answer all my questions by just giving me a list of which weapons i should use till like lvl 30 or somethin.... thanks everyone :sweat:

Before level 30 it really dosen't matter what weapon you use.
Find something you like and experiment a bit.

At 32 though, the Impact Knuckles completely outshine all other options. At 38 get a pair of Mythril Knuckles or Mythril Claws.

At 48 its wise to get some Patas. At 50 you will likely use the Tactician Magician Hooks because Cross-Counters are so expensive (but this gives you something to shoot for if you really want them - they go for 1.5 million gil on Ragnarok).
