Peacock Charm for monks?

People keep saying that Accuracy is key, and the best accuracy equipment seems to be the Peacock charm.

Also, Allakhazam has Argus(the thing that drops the Charm) listed as level 36-37, meaning a level 40 could solo him. anybody care to confirm or deny this?

I soloed Argus at lvl 53. Even then, Argus did a lot of damage to me. Since you're a MNK, you wouldn't be doing much damage to him even doing 2 hour. Out of 3 times I killed him, I never got the drop. I'll recommend you wait until lvl 48 and use your 2 hour. I THF friend soloed it at 51, and told me it was too close.
Argus is camped frequently. Since Leech King and Argus are NM replacers, it's hard to judge when Argus will spawn. The only ones who will know the exact time will be the one who killed Leech King last. Leech King is very easy, but unless you can take on 5 other leeches at the same time, it wouldn't be wise to try to solo the leech room. There are at least 15 leeches at one time there. At lvl 53, I had no problems killing a link of 7 of them. But I still had to heal myself with my WHM sub to kill them all. When the Leech King has spawned, I would clear out at least half of the other leeches before going after the NM. Once the NM is killed, you'll have 12 hours real time to have Argus spawn. And vice versa for Leech King.

So once leech king is killed, it will spawn within 12 hours, at 12 hours, or after 12 hours?

The spawn times are 12 hours apart. +/- a few minutes.

Peacock Charm sells for 6 million gil on my server. Yes, 6,000,000 gil.

I would never wear that when I could sell it for 6 MILLION gil.

Did I mention how much it sells for?

Life Belt, Archer/Sniper Rings, Masters Gi, Temple Gi (AF), and various H2H weapons are more realistic equipment goals for pure + accuracy.

hrm.. at low mid 40's i'd recomend sticking w/ beetle earings then getting tortoise at 45 as for +str I think the only one available are Cassie Earing's

anyways you'll be very lucky to get a Peacock Charm w/in the near future. Plus it's generally about 10 levels more than the monsters level to solo a nm in the mid-levels (w/ proper sub and equip)
