A Galka monk?

What does everyone think of a galka monk?

you could get some nice power goin' if you get a good sub job but if that's what your going for other jobs could be better. but hey to each his own, right.

They rock man! Best HP and 2hour in game, only down side is their def sucks! Plus they get to wear all the awesome robes and stuff.

Galka do make the best monks, stat wise at least.

Their biggest rival is Elvaan. But overall at lvl 70 Galka like 17 points more. Elvan have 4 higher str, 4 less dex, and alot less vit.


But problem with galka monks is if you EVER want to do anything else. They don't do well.

They are horrible casters, not even that good of paladins cause galk's low mp.

thank u for the help all.....but i was still wondering what the best sub job would be....i was definetly thinking war but is there something else that works well with a galka monk?

Monk/sam also works, but i'd probly say works best at the later lvls.

Monk/war or Monk/thief seems be the best to start with. But you can change job much as you want, experiment a little at first.

personaly i love mnk and galkans make some of best ones at lvl 27/12 war i already top the hp charts of most pts clocking in at a massive 633 hp though im not going to blow smoke up your nose in a good fight that goes away quickly though thankfully i have dodge and focus to save my rear. they macro so well they have the same duration and cool down time.


i find mnk/war is a good combo as the war gives you a needed def boost after lvl 10. and when you get war up to 15 once you hit 30 with your mnk you can use berzerk. i would also recomend lvling thief for a while and subing it when you are hard up for gill. or are out for a quest item

Galka MNKs rock.

I am VERY happy with my MNK/THF combo...even though the latest patch completely screwed with my Sneak Attack game.
