  • Best place for monk stuff???

So i which city is it the best place to buy monk stuff? Im in sandoria and i cant find any good equipment....(its certainly due to the fact that we are 3rd in the conquest though...) So can someone help me out on this? I know coulllave sells lvl 8 stuff when we arent last in conquest so if you have any other tip....it would be greatly appreciated ^^

I don't really know, but I'd look around one more time and check the AH.

If you still don't find anything good, the best stuff is most likely in Bastok.
    Rude, but not wrong. ;x

I spoke to a higher level character in the beta, and he said most of the monk equipment is in Jeuno. Quite a journey for most of us beta testers.

Hi all brand new here, US Beta tester, Bastok, lvl 17 MNK.
Yoko- @ lvl 12 u have 2 choices, which are mainly dependent on ur subjob plans seeing that u wont be getting new armor until ur high enough lvl to wear stuff sold in Juneo. Ur two choices r Brass/Fighter Stuff (helmet, subligar, etc...) or more mageish looking stuff (Doublet, Brae, etc...) both r lvl 11 or 12 equipment, the Fighter looking stuff is sold in most Armor shops, and the Magish stuff is sold in General or Adventurer shops. The magish stuff costs more but if u plan to go anything other then Monk/Warrior get it because it looks better then the Brass stuff which makes u look like a stripper
As 4 Juneo, thats a really hard trek ive only seen one person under lvl 20 make it there and back (he was crazy @ lvl 10 but made it only to see the empty Juneo, 4 all we know he was the 1st public beta there ) so as I was saying unless u wanna get some high lvl friend lookin 4 a chocobo license to take u dont both its said to be expensive and rather pt less until 20. Lastly, other wise u can wait to lvl 20 4 ur next set of armor, which I believe is the various Black equipments or get Conquest pt. Equipment.

Its pretty hard to find some really good monk stuff but so far the best stuff ive seen is in bastok. Theres a pretty good lvl 10 claws you can buy for 1000 conquest pts the has dmg+4 acuracy+2 and attk+3 wich i am currently using and the armor there is pretty good too. As for jeuno, theres not much stuff to buy there untill yur lvl 25-30+. Hope ive been of a little help to you:p .

Are you somehow implying that looking like a stripper is a bad thing?

As far as monk equipment is concerned, Windhurst conquest items are suited for monks and the like
