Generally, Wyvern Burn (VernBurn, JumpBurn, GoonBurn, etc.) is made up of 6 DRG/WHM, and they take turns resting. There's a thread around her somewhere on it. We also discuss other setups similar to SevIfrit's. Personally, I would want to try DRG/WAR, DRG/WHM x4, and BRD/WHM. With intelligent positioning you maximize damage output, maximize MP regeneration, minimize TP loss, and get some very nice enfeebles on each and every mob.

Of course, unless you have 4 suicidal DRG friends, and a BRD who's willing to risk their life, then stick with the standard WAR and THF subs.

its all fun and the never ending mp the a brd main gives you is unbeatable. balladx2= mp faster then u can cast dia. and hell yesh we suicidal, but we also make sure that we have as many -% damage on the tank as possible. and our standered /whm has scorpion breat plate gear due to great effects if enfeebed. drg is basically a support job or melee or even main heal on missions if played right.

After the update, PLD probably would make a good solo/farming sub level 70+. With a hybrid wyvern, the HB trigger point would be a little low, but the AF helm fixes that mostly, and Auto-Refresh + a couple DEF Up traits are nice for solo. The main problem is the lack of a cheap and fast trigger spell (only real options are Cure or Protect).

Anyone have a chance to check the three newest jobs yet? I hear PUP allows you to have a puppet subbed, but I suppose it's too much to ask for a puppet and a wyvern. I'm mainly curious about COR and BLU. I'm guessing COR is multi-purpose and BLU is full mage.

Any info?

/BLU definitely results in a Healing Wyvern, and you definitely can not have a Puppet and a Wyvern out at the same time. Don't know anything about /COR.

Blu is an awesome sub for Drg. Its offers enough HB triggers and is a fun job to level up.

I'm sorry, Cookietovar, but I don't see how a job that allows you to heal yourself, get your wyvern to heal you, stun the enemy, boost your DEF, choose various traits like regen and X killer, and even adjust your stats to best compliment the main job is a bad idea. People around here love /WHM, so why wouldn't /BLU be an amazing sub for DRG? I'd like to see some tests, but from what I'm reading in the BLU forums. . . even if /BLU only works at half the power of BLU, it could actually be the first mainstream mage sub acceptable for DRG in parties.
