I was wondering if anyone had any info (or videos would be especially nice) of Drg vs. Maat, I haven't seen anything on it, and not that im close to fighting him, but I was just curious, thanks in advance

I beat him 2 days ago on my 3rd try.

Youll need a drg testimony to fight him and a new one if you lose.

the equip I used was:
Colossal lance
AF helm
Opo-opo necklace (forgot to switch back to mermans gorget)
assault earring
mermans earring
Dragon mail
drg fng. gnt.
2 str +1 rings
amemit mantle +1
life belt
baone coaishess or something
dragon greaves


food: steamed crab
items: 14 hi-potions, 1 vile elixir +1, 2 icarus wing 7 sleeping potions


I started out with a penta on him
then switched to hes wyvern and jump + high jump +3-4 hits and it was dead.
then went for maat again spammed hi-potions until he did ws, after that I used my vile elixir.
did another penta when I got tp
used icarus wing
did another penta and he was dead^^

I would definitely have needed more hi-potions. I defeated him with 127 hp left

Maat is that old dancing fuck in ru'lude gardens who gives you the genkai quests

At 70 you can sleep to full tp, run in, penta him, icarus wing, skewer, jump, high jump, maat dies.

thanks for the replies, still one more question, my friend says that wheeling thrust is great on maat, if anyone could post whether penta skewer or wheeling is best, I'd appreciate it, thanks

That plan in the post really won't work at all. The wyvern barley hits him and he kills it FAST so you can't count on it doing much. Also thats very expensive. If you sleep TP, penta, then use an icarus wing and skewer, you make a SC on him too for that extra damage, and your skewer at 70 should be hitting him for around 400~. Wheeling is too random too count on. It's really just if your opening penta lands 4-5 hits, if it does, he shouldent have time to call him wyvern.

I lost first time because I sorta panicked, second time I came out with 700 HP. Pretty much just followed what mysterytour said, none of that icarus wing/self-skillchain or vile elixir stuff. Didn't even get to use WS on Maat.

Don't try to be a hard guy and do the Penta > Skewer strategy. I lost more times than I cared for because of that. Follow Mystery Tour, bring LOTS of hi-potions, and out-tank him.

maat is easy if you know what to do -.-
he pwned me on my first try because i fucked everything up ><"
got hate after sjump.......wyvern didnt do breath because i had rdm subbed before i went in(weird cuz SJ is removed -.-)....jumps missed... .. and /panic :O
on my 2nd try i did this:

sleep tp to 100
eat fishkabob
drink pear au lait
use ancient circle
penta maat
eat wing
penta his wyvern
potion
jump
high jump
drink more pots after each hit
and finish off with another penta

if u can get ur last ws off before he uses his ws it could work without pots o.O

i had 800+hp before he used his ws (350ish after it :D) and he died 1 sec later as you can see
total of 4 hi pots used >.>

I see a lot of DRGs saying that Defense should be your first priority for this fight. I tried that my first two times against Maat, and lost. My third time, I went in with my full out attack gear and meat mithkas.

1x Selbina Milk

- Eat 3x Sleep Potion to gain 75% TP
- Eat Fish Mithkabob & Selbina Milk then engage Maat
- Hit Maat 5 times then Maat's Wyvern is summoned
- Penta Thrust Maat's Wyvern without changing target so wyvern will breath on Maat
- Jump & High Jump
- Hit Maat 2 times
- Super Jump, /lockon and turn away while Wyvern fights Maat
- Depending on luck Wyvern will make Maat give up, if not hit Maat 1 time and he
will

Notes: Eat 1 Hi-potion after each hit taken from Maat
