Changing Wyvern to something else

sorry if this has been posted before but i found this on FFVault eariler and wanted to share it with everyone that hasnt found it or figured it out

Oh yeah, and you're Dragoon's Wyvern is Folder 97 # 74.. follow the steps below to change him into ANYTHING



ok First of all.. go into you're folder

C:\Program Files\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI

Then click on the folder ROM. Then into folder 97.

take the .dat files # 66 to 73 and COPY them into a new folder that you can call anything (mine is called backup)

here's the list of those dats..
66 Carbuncle

67 Fenrir

68 Ifrit

69 Titan

70 Leviathan

71 Garuda

72 Shiva

73 Ramuh

Now, take ANY .dat from the lis below, COPY them into you're backup folder, CHANGE their names according to what avatar you want them to be. (if you want a giant treant ,wich is #12 from folder 97, as your carbuncle, you copy him, change his name to 66, then re-copy him into the right folder, in this case it's folder 97.)

Oh yeah, and you're Dragoon's Wyvern is Folder 97 # 74.. follow the steps up top to change him into ANYTHING

Sucks that only you can see this stuff. That would be sweet if you could see other's mods though. A full party of DRGs, all with different looking Wyvern. That'd be sweet.

I like the Chocobo one. A DRG on a Chocobo, being followed by their Chocobo Wyvern. hehehe

I'm assuming that if some of these having running animations, the also have fighting animations. So taking that assumption a bit further, would models such as Lion have a fighting animation?
