    At level 75....

Takes 300 of my HP to heal up to 300 on Wyvern. takes 300 regardless of how damaged wyvern is, so could take 300 to heal 1. 3 min. timer. I don't hate it. Worked well vs. Roc.

If it's a quick, ontime price for a full heal like that, then DRG got a boost in a ways to their damage. Hopefully this will be able to make up for the WS nerf you just happened to be right about.

    Be like a Paladin.
Take the hit, shrug it off, and ask if their mom hits any harder.

heh, 300 HP would kill a lv 10 or so DRG. Is it based on your max HP/level or is it always 300? Have you tried using it with different HP?

        Lv.71 DRG/SAM

Spirit link converts 350-500 hp from me to my wyvern, nearly killed me when we where fighting a HNM 2 mins after server up

Give or take 160 Hp out of my 650-ish to heal a similar amount on my wyvern. Very useful for gobs and the occasional poison from those pesky crawlers. Not that I need it at my level range. Ah well.

The Tp nerfing isn't hurting me personally much if at all. Of course, I'm pre-penta, but at the risk of joining that stupidly melodramatic crowd weeping and moaning about their lost "oober" ws spammage (that they've never used or very likely never even seen used), I'll say it isn't that big a deal.

Nice thing to notice is the very useful addition of /wait 60s, and a very very convenient /recast command for your macros. Genius. Probably more useful then spirit link, as sad as that is to admit.

Not a bad update, despite the complaining suggesting otherwise. By the way, anyone figure out at which level dragoons actually get the dismiss and spirit link abilities? Would be nice for those qufim drgs getting their wyvern's poached in Delkfutt's if they get it before 25.

Currerntly a LVL 65 DRG. I had my wyvern summoned, due to the effect of the AF armor, wyvern hp was at 90%. I used Spirit Link and it took 300 hp to heal the wyvern to full.

Now that you can keep the wyvern alive better, how much damage does it actually do? At 60+ how much dmg does it do compared to what you do yourself? If it's a decent amount, it will help DRG's deal more dmg.

EDIT: Also, if we don't have to heal to heal the wyvern, it saves us TP, which also adds to damage. I'm begining to think this patch isn't so bad after all.

Omfg... I can't believe it sucks away our life!!
WTF!? I was even dissapointed with it healing my Wyvern alone but now it takes our health away!?
Square-Enix must love watching us DRGs suffer.

                        Well now,

if they gave us a free ability to heal our wyvern, then it would hardly be a blanaced class now would it? Bst would also need a similar ability, to heal their charmed pets if they so desired. Also, we would then have the most reliable 2 hour in the game with no downside (which is hardly too fair).

Therefore, instead of allowing the whm to cure our wyvern, just allow us to do it, so that the whm can cure us.

Quite ingenious actually... and it doesn't "screw" us in the long run.

Does anybody actually know what level this ability is acquired at?

                        THanks!
                        :spin:

I believe you get it at 35... so it may help you fend off Crawler's poison. Good luck keeping your wyvern alive against Hawkers though.

BST can heal their pets with food, so they don't really need a new ability.

Crawler poison is nothing. Only stupid DRG's let their wyvern die from it. Just make sure your wyvern is on the opposite side of the tank when you make your first it. It's not a circle AE, but a cone. Many AE can be that way. It's an easy problem to solve.
