Dragon level?

Does anyone know the level of the Dragoon Dragon? I want to see if I can solo it because Im trying to unlock every job. But its hard for BLM to solo mobs. Should I wait around 5-6 more levels, or can I take it on now?

a low lvl 50ish dragoon friend ofmine soloed it for me your milage may varry

When I did it, I had a L52 drg with me and he kinda owned it. I was a bit dissapointed because it was so easy.

I solo'd it as a level 50 Dark Knight/Thief, but it was close. I had to Souleater + Blood Weapon it, and I still only left with 200hp.

51 WHM/BLM and 42 BLM/RDM(me) owned it Slow fight but we had no problems.

you should be able to take it as a blm, only problem is the dragon attacks fast and your spells might get interupted.

I did it for a level 30 MNK who /telled me whilst I was in San d'Oria.
He also got a level 57 SAM to join.

Hahaha it was crazily easy.
Fight started with SAM using Meditate then I Jump > High Jump on the Dragon and turned on Berserk then approached.
SAM voked the Dragon.
The MNK was hardly doing any damage so it was basicaly me and the SAM against the Dragon.
I cast Ancient Circle then continued to stab at the Dragon.
"TP: 100%" said the SAM.
Off he went with his Penta-Thrust spam (using Polearm).
He did it about 4 times and it was all over.

Total battle time: 2:28
Samurai damage taken: Approx 200 hp

Very easy.

I think i am going to see exactly how low a level you can be and still win this fight playing as DRK, I don't really care about dieing. Starting at 43 i am going to try every level to solo this until i succeed.

When I did my flag, I had a lvl 60 sam use her 2h, so it became real easy. Any melee above 50 should be able to solo, 45-ish with a healer, something like that.

Anyways for those interested, record on Bismarck was 0:35 before latest patch... apparently some crazy goon PT's went in and trashed the dragon ~.~
