Mithra DRG sub job

Ok, I am new here and have been reading around... but I still haven't found an answer to my question. What would be the best sub job for a Mithra DRG? They have a lot of dex and what not to start with, so what direction would I go with my sub?

heh, theres no "ideal" sub.

You can choose probably 3, that you will probably switch back and forth from.

/samurai

Either one will suit you fine. Of course, +60 you will probably be a /samurai and 1-60 you will be warrior.

DRG/THF is the way to go!

Hey, last time i posted i didn't have the game (2 months ago) but now i do, and i'd have to say Dragoon Sub'd w/ thf is the best long term Job class. (For Dragoon anyway) I'm lvl 30 ATM with Dragoon, so i have thf's Sneak attack. With accuracy bonus and double thrust, you'll find that sneak attacking Mandragoras in Yhoator and creeps in Altepa is a lot of fun with large pointy objects. From lvls 1-10 you'll probably be better off going Dragoon/Warrior just for partying reasons. Btw, I'm a mithra Dragoon as well. So i hope this answers your question. (Zidanesl)

There's no best subjob.. If you are planning to get above lvl 60, lvl your drg to 60+, and your war/sam/thf all to 35. Rotate for situational use.

You are probably gonna say... well, i don't wanna be on 24/7. Then pick one you like, and stick w/ it. Either way, they are good in their own way and suck in certain situations. It's all about what you hunt, who you hunt with, and how your party is set up.

The path I'm taking/will take:

1-29 WAR; no good THF abilities yet except steal
30-49 THF; Sneak Attack + Double Thrust
50-60 WAR; Berserk, Double Attack
60-75 WAR or SAM; SAM for Meditate

People say there is no best subjob but you have to wiegh the benefits of each. Sam sub is utterly pointless till your lvl 60 for meditate , even then its not as extremely powerful as people say , Sub'd samurai's meditate only gives 60% tp , thats enough for 1 more pentathrust with a little left over after every 3 mins. Taking into account the loss of double attack / atk up / berserk from war its not much at all. Thf rocks if you can level it but as mithra you would gain less from it stat wise then say elvaan , id go war all the way personaly, and i am.
