drg vs. undead lvl 60+

Ok, just a question.

I plan on being a drg, but I also plan on doing 3 subs: warrior, samurai, and red mage.

I know at lvl 60+ you start having to fight undead (depending on area.) Would having a drg/rdm help in this fight at all, even if you could cast dia or cure2 on the undead monster.

No, you still deal crap damage despite how many debuffs you pile on. Even on low level undead I do shitty damage with Polearms, just a natural penalty incurred.

Not exactly sure what is the most useful thing when fighting undead but I've been using a staff for most undead fighting. Haven't got sword to a sufficient level to use it in exping, and staff WS suck ass, but does 2x damage to undead.

With no food, I did 5 damage to a Spartoi Sorceror in Ranps Tomb. Really though, don't obsess over not fighting bones, you can go elsewhere.

yeah, I know. I was just curious. My friend and I had an arguement over if sam sj would help fight undead.

So even casting cure2 on them won't help?

only reason you dont figh bones is: spears are made to penetrate the enemy, you cant do that to bones since the spear would just bounce off the small peices of a bone. Spears are good vs orc i think but davoi isnt the best place to lv..and those orchish dragoons do actually intimidate your dragon.
