Topic name says it all really. Can they solo? I like to group but when I can't find one it'd be nice to make exp on my own for a little bit while I wait so I hope they can solo...

Drg/War can solo until like 15, maybe a little farther. At level 42 i can solo easy(as in easy mob), but some of them give me a good beating. I don't have the top of th line Def gears so they hit more often. If you are rich enouth to have 2 set of armor, one Defense and one for Att+acc+dex+str than maybe you can do better. Still Drg are not a great soloer, lot of down time.

Well I just started my Dragoon and have been soloing slowly slowly.
Got him to level 8 so far and haven't died yet.Comment

Better than some other classes. 15 is still quite east to solo at. I could still take decent challenge mobs into my mid 20s without too much hastle. At level 40 now I can take 25exp easy prey's but that's about the best I can manage solo now.

At 47-48 I could solo Antican Ess... something and got about 50 exp/kill. havnt done much soling since then.. So I think drg is quite good at soloing.Colossal lance, Optical hat, Mermans gorget, Assault earring, Coral earring, Assault jerkin, Drachen fng. gnt., Ruby ring x2, Forager's mantle, Life belt, Barone cosciales, Barone Gambieras

No job save for BST can solo respectably for experience past level 15.
Some say Redmage can, but I'm a redmage and i shudder at the very idea of it. i got rocked by an Easy Prey Fire Elemental in western altepa, barely warped out alive.Current Character Info: Xerlaoth Valefor, Windurst RDM 75, WAR 60, BLM 48, NIN 37, WHM 37, DRK 30, THF 30 (FUN!) You technically CAN solo, but it will take an eternity to ever lvl up. You can survive a fight with an easy prey at lvl 4x and have about 20-30% of your health left, but you will need to rest until full again. Yeap...that takes time. You also only get about 18-25 xp points. Sometimes...and this is rare...you can fight DC mobs and survive....but anything more than this and you're dead meat.
Don't get me started on party invites after you hit the 40's....it's sad....Lammy
