What makes a dragoon fun?

Well I know people enjoy the other classes because of thier wide variety of skills and you're always on your toes hitting macros or doing skillchains. but a dragoon only has 3 jump skills (which have a big gap in between), a crap circle skill, and wyvern.
I'm not saying dragoon sucks or anything, I was just wondering why people think its so fun? I haven't tried one yet but I'm definatly going too in the future.

right now, all I'm hoping for is that it feels different then playing as a WAR. cause the last thing I want to do is go through another 30 levels of standing there monotonasly swinging away with a spear that misses half the time -_-;;

First of all, are you using a spear for your WAR? If you're tired of missing, switch to either a 2h or a 1h axe. They are the WAR's best weapons, and will in turn will allow you to hit alot more.

And missing with melee classes? Get used to it, it happens the entire way through the game, not much you can do about it.

my question was if its any fun and is it any different from a spear warrior.

Sounds like you don't like melee full stop. Go play a caster or something.

dragoons are fun at lv50. i like messing around with penta and giving aggro to my friends from monsters without them knowing it with super jump

Dragoons are amazing! I know theres a big gap inbetween the jump skills, but "Jump" is very effective as long as you have good accuarcy. The circle is helpful against dragons, I know there aren't many but still, anything helps. Solo with a Dragoon is very easy, the wyvern allows you to fight tough monsters with hardly any problem. I started grouping about level 11 to get exp faster and with less down time. The Dragoon stats are a bit lower than the other melee classes, to fill that viod your wyvern is amazing, and does more than just full the viod. When you use a ws your wyvern attacks with a specail move, or heals, or whatever depending on your sub class. So Dragoon can be very versital if you so choose it to be. They are amazing with spears, the damage I've been doing is great, with low delay time, well medium but still very nice. Hope that helps you out.
