Ive looked all over G-7 like i found on the FAQ and cannot find a place to get my pickaxe to excavate, can anyone tell me where im supposed to be digging or what im looking for PLEASE

I didn't really spend a lot of time looking, there was a dragon skeleton, and I was pressing tab until it targetted something, believe it was in the middle. Got it on the first try tooCry more n00b!!!!!!!!!!! -

yeah look around the dragon bones. There will be something that says "excavation point"
I also heard you can look at I-8 for the excavation point, it changes places I think.Comment

I went looking for it, at G-7 and it wasn't there, so I went farther in...
I don't like how every monster in that cave aggroes and links and stuff. I found an excavation point but when I stopped to excavate I got jumped by about 10 monsters that had been chasing after me. I died, and was sent back to Sandoria...Comment

after an excavation point is mined, it disapears for a time. You have to wait for it to "repop" I couldnt fine the one on G-7, pretty sure it was being dug when i got ther,e came back a few hours later, and the point was back, its up on the higher part, near the skellyComment
