Here's my plan, tell me what you think!?

Hiya! Okay here's my plan I would love to get back some advice from people of knowledge on this issue.

I really like the Dragoon because I see it as a pretty versatile class. I was planning on leveling up white mage and thief to around 30 and then using dragoon as my main and switching off the two subs as needed. With White Mage i could utilize healing breath and spells to an extent along with magic resistance and regeneration later on, this way I can help heal in downtime and such! With a thief sub I can be more attack oriented and still contribute as a damage dealer when the white magic is covered (plus I might make a little more money).

Also I have two friends who will be playing somewhat regularly, one wants to be a ranger thief combo and the other a healer but we will play without each other some times.

What do you all think??? Thanks in advance for all advice!

While Thief is a perfectly good sub for Dragoon, White Mage isn't very useful past level 13-15. The Dragoons place in PT's is to do damage. Whm sub will hurt this effort in a PT. You would end up with next to no MP and no useful abilities. White Mage sub is only useful when you need to solo. Also white mage isn't a good Thief sub job either. So you'll need something differet to sub to your Thief while leveling that too. You might need to think about leveling warrior or monk along with thief and white mage.
