Samurai is an awsome sub job for dragoon, but not until they are at realy high levels. Store TP with pentathrust works awsome. but before you can use that, its not as good

from what i have read WAR, THF, and RDM, can be good subjobs for dragoons.

Or if you want less down time after battles while soloing sub Whm.

I never subbed whm when I was soloing as DRG because:

              A) You dont have wyvern's breath (at this level, it pwns those low HP monsters)

              B) Double thrust, Jump and wyvern Breath kill monsters same as my level easily, for 100EXP. I don't even need to sit afterwards too.

When it comes to dragoon, sub warrior from 1-30.
I really should thank you for it afterall it was your life that taught me the purpose of all life.....Purpose of life, is to end.

              I hate my life.

Is the store TP the only reason why people take SAM as their subclass?
If you define cowardice as running away at the first sign of danger, screaming and tripping and begging for the enemy no not see you. Then yes, Mr. Braveman, I guess I'm a coward
