    In comparison yes, Drk/War will out damage. Double attack, Beserk create faster TP gain and high avg damage output. A Drk/Thf will generally not use SATA during fights due to the fact that they want to always save it for the WS. There is no time to SATA during battle and expect to use it with renkei. When a PT has TP fights last very short (Start > Renkei > Burst > Death).
    Sorry but i just need to say something here
    If you are a smart DRK, you can base on your TP in order to use sneak attack w/o WS in the fight. And its not hard. One swing is about 8 seconds ( my estimatation ), 1 min of sneak attack down time. 12.5 TP per swing + few chance of mission like 2 :p. Just a little math and you can do whatever you want.

    DRK/WAR do out dmg vs DRK/THF after 50. But how much will depend on how lucky you are in double attack.

    One disadvantage of DRK/THF is that you might get too much hate on Distortion , but well thanks for that i got 160 parrying at NIN 60 now :p

    On Genbu last night my spinning did consistenly 450-600 and near 800 on SE with Balmung. Since i read something about INT affect spinning slash so i use AF2 gloves and AF1 pant T_T but well i cant really tell.

      I'm not one of those DRKs that think we're gimped, or that we actually NEED something. But there are a few things I would like, and a few things that have been mentioned that I think would be pretty sweet.

      Blood Weapon - Should be 1min. So it works perfectly with Souleater.

      Absorb-TP - I mean c'mon, we have Drain & Aspir, further our vampire like tendancies even further with the ability to steal TP as well. I think this would help parties out big time as well. I can even deal with the spell being Lv.55 or something as well.

      Warp - I'm in agreeance with this one. I'd rather have Warp then have Tractor to be completely honest with you. I'm tired of sub'n BLM for Missions so I can Warp back.

      Absorb-Accuracy - I hadn't thought about this one, but it's not a bad idea. Though, personally, I think I could live with out that. I know that seems odd coming from an Elvaan, but at a certain point, having so much Acc+ doesn't really kick in. That's where Absorb-DEX would actually help. Then again... I guess this would be something the party would greatly benefit from. Mobs Acc dropped drastically. I'd still rather have Absorb-TP.

        yes lets have drk just be as strong as a rng be the most accurate job and get meditate hey lets just throw in cures while we're at it! maybe even some tanking abilities (sarcasm)

          That would be great. IMO Blood Weapon is one of the stupidest 2 hr abilities in the entire game, simply because of it's low duration.

          That would be nice, but it wouldn't work because Warp is classified as Enhancing magic, which Dark Knights do not have a skill for. So they would have to add Enhancing skill to DRKs and that would be unbalanced.

          Hmm... I thought this thread was supposed to be about why DRKs get none of the new CoP equipment.

            We also can use hand to hand weapons and shields, although we have no skill in them.

              Yeah but magic is different since it requires the appropriate skill, either from main or sub job
