im going to start as War then to DRK at 30. but i wanna know when to level THF? Im sure its been gone over in the Fourms but i couldnt find it. and yes im Nub. Dont make fun of me. cuz ill pwn you in CS Thanks alot.

well Thf is needed with Dark 60+ so once Dark is over 60 level it.

You have to level it anyway so it really doesnt matter when you do it although the higher level your dark the more gil you make and can buy more items for Thf

Get it to 15 for now to farm with Treasure Hunter and worry about it later... also while you have the opertunity level greatsword with your warrior so you can concentrate with Scythe for a while whilst leveling Dark ^^

A few tips for you becoming a Dark Knight that you probably have heard but i thought i would help you out just incase you didn't read it.

As a Warrior try to level with Sword and also 2 handed Sword (make sure after your sword caps you switch to 2 handed sword.) The weapon you use to do the DRK quest is a 2 handed sword and it sucks to be a low level with it when it comes to killing 100 creatures. Don't even bother using a Scythe until you become a dark knight because its going to level extremely fast until about level 50's then you are going to have to do other things to keep it caped. Don't be a gimp. Level your Great sword whenever your Scythe is caped. It makes a big difference when you get to higher levels and people are asking for skillchains and you are only level 60 and you should be 150. (had that problem and had to go back and fix that.)

Level your warrior and thf up as much as you can. If you get bored or can't find a party (you will start having that happen when you get to about level 40. Go and level another job. Make sure to contact party leaders every 30 minutes or so and let them know "Hey i am a level 40 Drk / war seeking group just leveling sub. Let me know if you get a open spot and ill suicide back to jeuno." That kinda stuff makes it real easy to get partys after doing it for a while because people will start to /tell you out of no where "Hey want to join a party ?" and its not some newbies its people actually the same Level as you! Test out your hate at early levels learn how much hate you have to create to pull off the paladins if needed (if they are going to die because of some sudden retardness in a white mage.) or if a blackmage pisses off something to the extent that the Paladin can't pull off of him just fire all your + attacks and its amazing how things change. (turn them off right away and turn on defender) FOOD FOOD FOOD! Mithkabobs are your friend. At about lvl 30 start carrying stacks on you all the time.

That is about all the stupid stuff i can think of off the top of my head i know a lot of topics have better stuff somewhere but thats what i got right now. Good luck

Dark magic

Try to keep Dark Magic capped for abs spells they can really help the party out, and theres always drain if tank looses hate^^

After about lvl 40 drain doesn't cause to much hate. you can use drain all day long and a mob won't come after you as long as you have a pally. Good way to keep your dark magic up is just use Bio at the start of every fight. It will jump in leeps and bows doing so. (i used that with my RDM when i noticed my Dark Magic was real low.)
