M 5-1 Sandy = (I'm sorry, I don't Understand)

This is driving me nuts.

I CANNOT get m 5-1 in sandy.

I'm rank 5.

I have full AF.

I'm level 60.

I have damn near hero fame.

My Rank Bar is full, and my gate guard NPC won't take anymore crystals.

When I talk to halver he says something to the effect of "We may call on you in the future, but for now you need to work on your skills and equipment."

WTF? :confused: :confused: :confused:

Anybody out there know what's going on?

Did you talk to your embassy in Jeuno after getting rank 5?

Order in which I did things:

1. Completed magicite mission

2. Went to Embassy, received Rank 5, yadda, yadda, yadda

3. Flew home Got the cutscene about the break-in, Halver says they may call on me later, but I need to work on my skills and equipment. (FU Halver!!)

4. Flew back to jueno, went to embassy, the diplomat person is "away" and the embassy door is locked. No Fei Yin key item T.T

any ideas?

Guard->Halver->Guard

If you got the cut scene with the lead female knight in the castle
of San d'oria, then the King himself makes an appearance, I believe Halver is the last one you talk to afterwards. Then head to
the gate house guard and he'll once again tell you to talk to Halver. You should be able to afterwards.

Talk to the normal guards that give missions in Sandy.

I did 1-3, though Bastok equivalent, then just talked to a guard in Metalworks and got my mission.
