Big Problem With Dark Knight Quest

My LS says that during the DRK Quest(when you are killing the 100 monsters) you cannot Logout or Zone....is this true?! Because my Internet will soemtiems disconnect...sometiems i go hours without it d/king but some times it goes in like 5 minutes....Please...help me! I wanna be a DRK!!!

no it does not matter. i killed 50, logged out, went to school, came back, logged back, killed another 50 and got drk

Yes. But using a weapon skill or magic to finish a mob will not count as a kill, only when it's finished off by the sword does it count.

err...
use a higher level job.
you need to be level 30 to become a drk, so wait till you are there, or use your level 30 job if you have it already.

uh....have you done the quest??? You have to use a sword only wars and drks can use.....my main is level 30 rdm....

please don't be dkn/rdm its just, /sigh, anyway, i recomend useing your war in the mines in bastok, the lvl like 2-3 leveling grounds, u don't need to get exp from the mob for it to count, just need to kill it w/ sword. also i recommend subbing your mage so u can heal yourself and go longer w/o resting

But having a higher level job that can use the sword would speed up the killing.

i belive i defintally zoned while doing it, however i think 100 kills must all be in the same zone, ie 100 in south gustaberg or west ronfare etc. not 50 in each

no, you can do it in diff zones. a good way to do it is to sub blm. the delay on the sword is horrible, so cast stone and then swing your sword. monster should be dead with one hit. id say go to s.gustaberg and kill worms and bees.

Heh dont worry, i have no intent to do that....im bein DRK/WAR then later DRK/THF

wow i can't believe so many ppl still don't know or giving out misinformation,

you can zone and logoff. You can take 1 year to finish the quest for all i care. You can logon and kill 1 mob per zone for weeks and as long as it adds up to 100 pure kill with the sword, you can complete the quest, do NOT USE WS, do not use magic, do not use a bow and arrow, you can use those but just make sure it's not the finishing blow, if u fight bees, sometimes they do final sting and kill themselves, that doesn't count either, u knnow like a bomb toss that kills a gob, same idea, u must do the killing, they cannot commit suicide, it's an easy quest, but its long, i did mine in zeruhn mine and s. gustaberge in a period of 3 days 6 months ago.
