Im a DRK and i play one of the most crucial roles in BCNM40's, im the dmg dealer, main puller, and stunner and mainly tank as well cuz i get most hate with my 100-140dmg per swing. DRK's are always good pullers because those mandras are reluctant to be pulled and abilities such as last resort and souleater and weapon bash does a really nice job at pulling along with being followed by provoke. i have been in many BCNM40's and my current record is around 40-5. the 5 losses were during my first 15 BC40's where we had Mithran BRDs ._. who dont ever have enough CHR to horde.
my current setups for BC40 are always RDM, RDM or WHM, BRD, DRK, DRG, SAM
PLD's are useless b/c they cant deal dmg and RDM's pull better with Phalanx then elemental seal silence.
DRKs are CRUcial in BC40 and jobs such as BLM and PLD are mainly useless. however having RNG's are always a big plus
