IE: What levels, absolute top-of-the-line equipment, decent equipment, etc..

dude i wouldn't even think about that level of gear yet. It will take you months and months to get there. I get the game tomorrow night my self but i don't even worry about what gear i will be wearing at level 70, heck when i start all i will be thinking... what the hell do i do now? But i'm not going to lie. I looked at pics of DRKs in their AF armor and thought it looked cool, thats what got me interested first, then reading more i got more interested. At first i was going to be a Ranger i still might be who knows. point is don't worry about gear if you haven't started yet just work on actually leveling, then once your close, then you should think about gear.

I usually use

Orz for taru, and

o-rz for elvaan...
