Ground Strike

What sup with this weaponskill? Im not high enuff to obtain it yet but i hear it has very horrible damage? Can anyone, high lvl enuff comfirm its damage compared to let say Spinningslash, in terms of numbers and usefulness? It looks real cool lol but I heard it sux that kinda sux to have a good looking high lvl weaponskill that aint going to be used :mad: .

um...ws differs fromt he weapon u use (obviously) but most drk use scythe (like me about to change when i go back to ffxi by the end of this month *muhahaha)

anyways scythe offers some pretty cool ws most of them are dark elemental...and dmgs are pretty good compare to some other ws

if that is what u want to know i hope it helps but if not..sorry

Huh? Oh yea i know scythe has good ws, Guillotine which i use to farm and Cross Reaper and Spinning slash while lvling. I was just wondering about Ground Strike the next last ws after Spinning any where as impressive which i heard not, but wanted to know how bad it really is in terms of damage.

its crap and always will be weaker than Spinning Slash by a significant amount, at any TP level. Sad, but true.

they seem to have fixed it. occasionally it's good... 300% TP only

Hopefully they give it a little more love in some way to make it more appealing ; ;

The jump isn't very high like Savage Blade, so let's compensate somehow

Isn't Ground Strike both Dark (Distortion) and Light (Fragmentation) elemental?

I guess that could make it useful in some non-leveling situations where you don't have a renkei pre-planned and have an opportuinity to creat a dark skillchain off of one of the Gravitation ws... Guess that's not too often, but hey, you never know...

Fragmentation takes priority, after a gravitation WS it'll land fragmentation... Only places the distortion is used is after a fragmentation (ending in distortion), or before gravitation (starting a dark)

The sword may be heavy Awntawn, but check out the way Elvaans wield them Great Swords, sigh, i feel tired just looking at the stance, not to mention my armor shoulder pads are covering my face.

This must explain why Elvaans miss so much ><:sweat:

not sure if you seen it.. but one of Taru's gsword animations has them swinging the gsword with 1 hand XD. Probably cause they are given smaller swords.. but still. It's a Greatsword compared to a taru >.>;;
