NM hakutaku in rancors den. (as far as I read) needs 12 75s or 18 70s. good luck with that.

First you have to go around other locations killing the eyes monsters there to get their items to drop, then you bring them all to rancor and trade it to get hakutaku to pop. I had info but I lost it when I lost interest in the hat D;

Pretty much. But after you get the 5 eyes you have to have them combined into a cluster (80+ alchemy), then you trade it to the ???, kill Hakutaku, and he *might* drop the hat.

Anyways.. the Hakutaku is a Hecteyes NM (looks like Gazers in Eldieme, or Argus).

It's really not that hard, just the only problem is you will need a few others to help clear tonberries around the spawn area. Even when fighting.

I love pointy hats! I'm a Galka drk and I always have a level 4 windshear at on when I'm not leveling. I want the Optical Hat because it's the ultimate hat!
