Wtf?

I know everyone has experienced this, but WTF? I spend the last two days in front of my computer waiting for a party as SOON as I come home, about 2:40, then I've waited until 10:00 PM for a party, waited, and waited, and waited. Not one tell at all, I though ok maybe its a bad day. So the next same I come home, log on, put on flag an /sea comment, wait, and wait, and wait. until now. Not ONE tell inviting me. Nothing at all. There can't possibly be a shortage THIS big! I've been 14+ hours just waiting for a PT :mad: WTF! I've tried making my own PT's but every single WHM and PLD either doesn't respond at all or says something like "I are need not now" They have english /sea comments on, E preference, but I don't think they speak a word of it. Soooo that pretty much covers my rant. When does the insanity end?

Answer to your last question: Until you get a party.

Well you could shout in town, or ask your LS for members. Starting a pt from scratch kinda sucks, it's good to have at least 1-2 people you know.

i sat through spring break last year without a single invite. yeah, the whole week. these are mistakes to learn from orz

until level 66 with thf sub and 2h sword, you're better off making your own parties.

dont waste time waiting for pt
make your own pt

just use party>> find members
you will see 12321424236 damage dealer seeking and most of them do more damage than us this lv

drk/war will always get invites after lv 60 easy

but after lv 66 if you sub thf your chance to get invite is high
cuz that lv drk/thf > main thf
you will do 2 job in the same time deal high damage + transform the hate better than main thf

and thats why my thf lv 45 <.< cuz i will need thf sub later

Hmm, why does DRK/THF become better then war at 66? I thought it was 60 because thats when thf sub gives trick attack. Is it due to new available weapon skills?

ya the weapon skills,
-crossreaper(scythe 225) closes dark lvl 3 chains
-spinslash(sword 225) closes light lvl 3 chains
I may have goofed up the dark and light attributes but its one or the other.

Both skills are high damaging 1 hits i think, so with sa + ta you get a very nice chunk of hate to transfer, along with a nice sized skillchain effect.

that and no greatsword, more or less, yeah no PT.

spinslash is 1 hit, with sneak attack giving it a critical, it's a very strong hit. Instead of 300~400 you do 700~1000 damage with sneak. Cross reaper is a little stronger without sneak, a little weaker with, and stronger with souleater. closing a WS with one of these WS's is "DRK's job" in the systematic PT post 66. if you can't do you're job, there's really no reason for anyone to want you.

I'm not sure if i can verify this, but in my experience, the renkei proc damage has a higher chance to be stronger, if the LV3 renkei is 3part

EG instead of Wheeling Thrust -> Spinning Slash for Light

Red Lotus Blade -> Skewer -> Spinning Slash

this is just an example, but the latter produces

Fusion-> Light

With this combo, my first spinning slash fuidama of the night hit for 1062+1525.

I was pretty impressed, since i've been training for spinning slash for quite some time, and glad to see it paid off, now im more versatile ^^

yea, what the above posters said is pretty much correct.

i pretty much always agree with awtawn, except for his views on the bone scythe , but thats another matter


make sure you have /thf and /war to 37, make sure you have GS and Scythe maxed, and ALOT more invites will come once you're lvl 60+ .

65/66 is when you will start getting many invites, but your REPUTATION is very important.

for example, most of my invites now are by RL friends and in-game friends who have done AF/Genkai with me. Very rarely do i get an invite from a person whom i dont know.

no that's without souleater. w/ it would be around 1100 + 1500.

How level 3 skillchains are basically...

it's either half or mirrored damage again, and if it's a 3-chain skillchain, it adds more damage, roughly 50% more, so basically if you hit for 1k, the added skillchain damage is either 500 or 1000 (assuming no resists), and on a 3-chain skillchain, it would be 750 or 1500.

well i dont know about all Servers
but in ragnarok now its hard to find mages

yes i know its always hard to find mages but i search for 2 hours for rdm and no one seek or want to pt

most of the rdms in set pt
and you cant fight crabs without rdm :sweat:
and brd is super super rare to find


anyway the jp start to pt with us
yes i send invites for blm/rdm/whm or any mage rank 10 with cursed equipment and serket ring and they accept the invite

and many jp start to use JE or english pt is ok with them


i think lv +60 they will join us easy (cuz there is still like %50 say JP ONLY) i will i only invite jp if the pt jobs was good with good equipment so they are happy when they join
