I'm hoping someone can give me some input. From what I have seen multihit WS are getting a huge nerf in the next update. Fully connecting Guillo will only return something like 18 tp. Is this true? It doesn't seem like this will effect DRK very much except for when farming, but i would like to hear what the more experienced DRKs have to say. Thanks in advance.^^

Ayako is a lv75 DRG on Rag. I don't generally believe anything until i see something offical by SE, but over the course of several months on these boards I have grown to respect what Ayako says. She/he isn't the type to just post BS. So i'm hoping someone else can confirm with something offical.Originally posted by Ayako2
it's a complete multi-hit WS nerf.
Using Penta as an example
Current rate of TP gain for a fully connecting Penta is 13.5 x 5 for approx 70 tp return. After the patch, the formula will be 13.5 + 4 for 17~18 tp return. That meaning, 13.5 for the base hit, and 1 tp per hit for the other 4. Can't say I'm too thrilled with this.

about one hit of Scythe you get 12% TP return. Guillotine = 4 hits WS and you can get 50% TP back if all 4 hit.
12 x 4 = 48 for some reason TP retuen round it to 50%, another 4 normal hits you can get back to 100%. unless its 12.5
i just checked DRG only spears, 507 Delay. DRK Scythe, 528 Delay.
how is it possible DRG get 13.5 TP return per hit?
sometimes when i /THF i can get one extra hit when i use Guillotine and get about 63%TP after finsh.
"an issue" The 2 i can think of.* An issue regarding the accumulation of TP with weapon skills that consist of multiple strikes (Combo, Penta Thrust, etc.) will be corrected.
1. Weapon Delay resets after WS (weapon dealy/60=?second per swing) so you will not get extra hit during the WS. unless double attack.
2. Relic Weapons with 1/999 delay vs multi hit WS fix.
Edit, so if what she said is correct Guillotine will be 12.5+3=15.5% TP return. i dont think its possible.
Sword, Vorpal Blade 4 hits WS
Axe, Rampage 5 hits WS
Spear, Penta 5 hits WS
Scythe, Guillotine 4 hitsWS
all these common multi hit WS before lv71 will become gimp and the risk taken for higher delay weapons is greater. its not balanced so its not possible.Bastok Rank 10

that's a good idea, they might be fixing it so instead of getting 50% from the 12.5 a hit you get 48%, not horribleMost memorable WoW vent convos on Burning Legion:

Drk-class scythes return 12.5 tp per hit, it isn't an error that's the way it has always been. And that's why you get 50 tp from a full guillotine (4*12.5=50).
The issue they are referring to could have been brought on by the relic weapons, but how they fix it is the real issue. There have been some very good sources saying it's a complete multi-hit ws nerf.

If there is one thing I fear, it's the nerf bat, because there's no way I can kill the wielder ^^

From that other post It seems the only problem is the Monks with the 999 delay relic knuckles getting 128% TP back from connecting 8 hits with Asuran Fists. I think they are just gunna nerf the 999 delay weapons and leave the regular weapons alone. Currenty, after a successfull multi hit (all connected) you still have to hit 3-5 times to get your tp back to do another one unlike that monk who can spam his weaponskill over and over.AF 1 -- Complete

it's worked fine for 2 years, I doubt they'll nerf our skills now outa the blue, it's about the 999 delay stuffMost memorable WoW vent convos on Burning Legion:

who said it was 12.5 for scythe? It is just a rounded number. Don't talk if you dont know what you talking about.
1st hit = 12 (12%)
2nd hit = 13 (25%)
3rd hit = 12 (37%)
4th hit = 13 (50%)
etc
1st hit = 12.5 (12%)
2nd hit = 12.5(25%)
3rd hit = 12.5(37%)
4th hit = 12.5(50%)
etc
and on the display they do front end estimation so you don't see the decimal. We know this is how it works because it is the only way to explain the SAM tp store traits.
