Armor at 49

I currently have almost 100k, and thinking of buying Mythril Armor at lvl 49 and getting AF after that. Is this a good idea? I was thinking about Iron Musketeers Armor, but I dont have nearly enough gil. After buying the Mythril, I was planning to buy Life Belt for obvious reasons. Please help me out, thanks in advance.

Take a break and farm some cash if you need it.

If you're tight on money(like I was), get mythril, you barely notice any difference by getting IM, oh besides looking like a PLD.

No reason to get the IM, really. I'd suggest (if you don't already have) get Barbarian's Scythe, Sniper Rings (makes you look rich, heh), Life Belt, Coral (I believe, level 55 neck thing, has ACC up) or Merman's Gorget, the Royal Knight's Mufflers, Assault and Coral Earings...yeah, I figured 50 was my time to farm. Those are just the items that seem "best" at this level. You could buy a full set of RK, but you may want to use some of the AF pieces. This is all planning for the future, lol.

IMHO, mythril armor is much more dark knightish than IM.. IM has a few extra stats, but kinda useless to DRKs.... besides, mythril is like 1/4 the price of IM.. =P

brigadine is much better than mytril... but u look like a trick-or-treater, it can last you somewhat... but at 55, you should really get atleast the RK armor.. technically mytril will last you till 58, but i can't really stand wearing such crappy things. if you want to, go for it.

yes i am still using my brigandine until level 55 (rk) or level 58 (af)

i dunno if i'm willing to spend the money for RK
cuz i already have my af armor

Thanks for the replys, I am doing some farming later tonight to build money for Life Belt...need to lvl tho....if I want to wear Life Belt and Mythril Armor. Plus I need money for Scythes. I basically have all my levels planed out. Royal Knights Armor is way to expensive for me. I can raise money for gauntlets. I was thinking Mythril to AF.....I will get the AF...do not know about Royal Knights though. I have looked at the Neckware at gives Acc+ and the Merman or Coral Gorget is one I will get. Also Fang Earrings for more Attack. I will also look for any Head Armor that would help because I hear that the DRK AF3 (Head Armor) is REALLY hard.
