drk/war or drg/war
this is what i am plannig to do i want to be a elvaan WAR then when i can i get sub MNK get MNK to lvl 15 and then go to WAR get WAr to lvl 30 and then become either DRG/WAR or DRK/WAR which is better in your opinion is this a good plan? thanx

You posted this in the DRK forums...heh. I'll tell you to go as a DRK, unless you're on Fairy, in that case you should be a BRD or something.

do what you feel you want to be after experiencing the game for 45 levels (30+15, if u really lvl monk up *shudder*[no offense, monks]). I chose drk, but envy drg's sometime

i agree w/ gix.
for a long time, drgs with equivalent gear outdmg'd me except for when they were a lvl or two from their next weapon and i already had mine.
now, after attack bonus 3 and absorb- line and barbarian's scythe and vorpal scythe WS, i'm starting to notice a little bit of difference, and i can assume the gap will only increase as i gain more lvls.http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/profile.xml?2412Comment

drg's suck... penta thrust is waaaaaaaaaaaay over rated. if your planning to play for awhile, go drk. even tho there's so many fukin drks in this game, i only hear bitching from drg's 60+Comment

Lol, you could post this in the DRG forum and still get high level DRGs telling you to go DRK. The general sentiment on the DRG board now is that DRG is half-baked, and Square really looked it over.
