Heh, or maybe I shouldn't assume all sites bother to translate properly, even if it's from "an official source".

EDIT: And yes, although it wasn't a flame, I will admit I did sound like an ass when I responded to you earlier. Only reason it came out that way was because there are so many people who go by spreading wrong info "just because a friend says so", I was getting frustrated. And ironically that led me into making a similar mistake due to a bad source. SOL I guess, heh.

Tiger Stole is pretty good ... until you hit level 30. Right now, at 46, I have 207 base to attack and I have another 4 more scythe levels till I hit max so that should bring it to 211 I think for my level.

+5 ATK and +2 DEF from Tiger Stole will do nothing for you at my levels. However, a +25 from Barbarian Scythe should outweight the loss in a little bit of accuracy =)

+3 to STR and +3 to DEX is a lot more beneficial after 30. Other than if you can afford the niceties (Like Peacock Charm) it's really the only thing you end up wearing around your neck into the 50s ...

Actually i was partially wrong:sweat: While it is confirmed by square that 2 STR = 1 attack, STR raise your max damage and attack raise your average damage.

Your max damage from a physical hit is also capped by dex, so the Spike Necklace is more useful.

Well I am currently in the character re-make process, so asking about/adding anything to this only helps my curiosity. Anyway, down to business. My old DRK did have the 4 mil to get the peacock; so I ask you, is it truly better to get a Spike when you've got enough for a Peacock?

peacock is pointless unless you have so much money you dont know what to do with it

Depends. However, if you have just enough for a peacock charm, like Mikasa before me has said, get a hauberk instead. The stats on that one greatly justifies spending the money. I'd rather get the Royal Guard Collar (+4 to attack AND +4 to accuracy) to make it up. Considering that the stats on the Hauberk put most, if not all, of the body armor available to a DRK to shame. If you're luck on the other servers (re: not midgardsormr) you could get a Hauberk +1 for 4 million gils ...

A big if with the 4 million at the supposed level you can wear it ^^a I don't know very many people with 4 million even at 60 and above =p
