Raven Scythe (68 dmg, Delay +528, Str +2, Int +2)
Power Crossbow (17 dmg, Delay +288, Agi +1)
I.M. Armet (Def +17, Vit +2)
Beetle Earrings +1 (x2) (Atk +3, Eva -2)
Spike Necklace (Str +3, Dex +3, Mnd -6)
Brigandine (Def +32, HP +10 Dex +2 Vit +2)
Custom F Gloves (Def +6, HP +12, MP +4, Str +3, Dex +3, Vit -1, Agi -1)
Royal Squire Breeches (Def +22, Dex +1, Agi +1)
Bastokan Greaves (Def +8, Agi +1, Area inside of nation's control Acc +3, RAcc +3)
Ametrine Ring (Dex +2)
Garnet Ring (Str +2)
Mrc Cpt Belt (Dex Vit Agi Mnd Int Chr +1)
Wolf Mantle +1 (Def +5 [FIR]+3 [ICE]+3 [WND]+3 [ERT]+3 [LTG]+3 [WTR]+3 [LIT]+3)

Gonna upgrade to Life Belt at 48 and Royal Guard Collar by 55. The earrings, rings etc are money dependant. I really should upgrade to at least 1 sniper's ring or at least an archer's ring ... sigh.

for a lvl42 drk, harvest scythe is a minimum,
i forget what the stats are, but it does make a big difference, sure you can slide by, i'm always excited to upgrade immediately to the next weapon when I am able to wield it, plus we're talking about 10k-20k weapon here, why be cheap and skimp out, from lvl40 to 43 is a long way, it's not exactly like the sniper ring for 300k where it's understandable, you're a damage dealer, carry the most damaging weapon

It's not a true scythe, is it? It's not a 528 delay scythe which supposedly generates TP faster. I could be wrong, but someone had advised me to stay away from such weapons. I had a Mythril Scythe which cost me 35k and used it till I got my AF1 done and switched off at level 43. I keep the Mythril Scythe just in case I ever get a call/invite to do a BCNM40 run.

I second that. I would've gil farmed like hell for a Valk Mask, but +5 or whatever it was to attack just didn't justify the 300,000+ gils I had to cough up for that. Plus, it looks very yucky compared with wearing an I.M. Armet (even though most PLDs would emote disgusts at me when they see a DRK wearing it).

I do that to everyone who wears it. Only helm I have worn was the Lizard one. Other than that, I'm going headbands and hairpins until 60.

I'd wear Emp's Hairpin if a) it didn't cost so much and/or b) it wasn't hard to camp (I tried once and gave up after 2 hours and I had to compete with over 20+ AF clad individuals who didn't know a single English word >.> )

lol... when I use to wear a helm, I wouldn't be caught dead wearing one in town.. always took it off in towns and put it on during xp PTs...
