Level 50 Dark Knight Equipment

Here is my equipment at level 50, I'm farming right now to get enough money for my Snipers, but I'm not sure what else to get. I was hoping to get some help from some higher DRKs.

Cuir Headband
Brigandine Armor
Royal Squire's Mufflers
Centaurian Cruisses
Plate Leggings
Fang Necklace
Beetle Earing +1

Garnet Ring
Amethyst Ring

I know, I'm gimped to hell, which is why I'm farming for some better equipment. Here's what I was thinking of getting.

Barbarian's Scythe
Valkyrie's Mask
Need Help Here-Not sure if I should keep Brigandine to 55 then get Royal Knight's Chainmail...or what.
Royal Knight's Mufflers
Need Help Here-Royal Knight's Breeches at 55, or my AF at 56, I was thinking, not sure though.
Need Help Here-Royal Knight's Sollerets, are they worth it?
Spike Necklace (just going to upgrade that, unless you have a suggestion.)
Beetle Earing +1
Beetle Earing +1
Sniper Ring
Sniper Ring
Life Belt
Nomad's Mantle

Anything that says Need Help Here (obviously) or anything that is bolded is where I'm looking for suggestions. If you have any suggestions for non-bolded parts, go ahead, put them out there.

If you're using the barb scythe, you may consider the aiming bracelets at lv.51 instead of the R.K. Mufflers at lv.50. They have attack-18 (but your scythe has attack+25) and Accuracy+6 (which makes up for your Accuracy-5 on the barb). I'd say it's even more important if you don't have both snipers and a life belt yet. It sucks to have ~300k gil negated by your weapon. Then at 58 when you get your vassago's dump them and go to R.K. Mufflers. On Midgard, they are roughly the same price (~60k).

As far as footwear goes... there isn't anything really impressive out there... Inferno sabots, R.K. Sollerets, and AF have about the same level of "non-suckyness." I guess winged boots are cool, but for the money, DEX+3 doesn't give a whole lot to a lv.50+ DRK.

neways, what the previous posters said i agree with, but, I wouldn't worry about the accuracy lost from barb scythe, considering at lvl 53, u can switch to bone scythe.

Your first priority is getting the life belt, it's a must for DRK and make sure u get it before u get the Barbarian Scythe.

PS : Isnt Assault earring a lvl 58 earring instead of lvl 55 ? :confused:

I have a Life Belt...I just haven't bought it. None on the AH. I'm checking everyday until I see one. I think I have about 60k to pay for it, and it usually goes for around 55k.

I also finished Genkai 2 today ^^ and got my AF2 (boots).

I just need to lvl up to put them on

Anyways, right now, I'm mad farming for the 500k for my snipers rings and it sux.

Anyways, I wouldn't even bother with barb scythe IMO, cuz i already bought my lvl 53 bone scythe.

especially if you have sniper rings or other +acc equipments...
I actually sometimes miss my barb scythe after I got my vassago... sure.. vassago looks cooler and I hit a bit more... but I feel like vassago doesn't hit as hard per hit as the barbarian scythe IMHO... that +25 atk does wonders...

royal guards collar (better than spike necklace imo by 10x)

at 58...
replace barb.scythe for vassago's
replace an earing for assault earring

at 59...
get harubregeon... if u can't afford its okay, 75% of NA population can't either (me included)

at 60...
AF3 helm
the rest of the stuff looks wierd with the AF3 helm, so i suggest you get the rest of your AF's to match. the AF3 helm is the best equip outta the whole drk AF series.

get an amenits mantle really nice stats. forgot it, but u can look it up.. 400k for the sucker tho ; ;

basically get the RK stuff.. it's pretty worth it for the stats. hell most of the pieces are even better than the drk AF series... but at 60, to match the AF3, im willing to loose all my RK gear.

oh yea... i suggest u get your lifebelt first... its the first thing i saved up for after i bought my brigadine.. make lifebelt ur first priority... (it's not even that expensive )

Mikasa, you saw how I looked...gay as hell. I'm going the rich way from now on, even if it takes me more time. I'll be buying my Life Belt next time I get ingame, then going to farm some more money. I should get enough in one day for a Sniper (I have before, but I spent it on crafting, the stupid shit). So on Saturaday when I do Genkai I should have a Life Belt and 100k of a Sniper. Another day or so of farming will get me another Sniper and a half, then I just need to farm for the Scythe and Level 50 parts of the Royal Knight's Chainmail.

what's another 50k to farm if you're gtting 500k already..
besides, you get your extra 50k back when you're upgrading to vassago and selling your old scythe...
