plate armor is for paladin, so it's not only you are outddated, you're not wearing the proper equip a drk should wear and it's outddated, yes you can equip the plate armor, but it doesn't mean it's right for you,

at lvl 53, 50k should be almost nothing, anyway money doesn't seem like a concern to the poster, he's close to buying a sniper ring,

Elvaan 50WAR/25DRK with Spike Necklace , 2x Beetle Earrings (not even the nice +1), and Barbarian's Scythe (in all, only about 100k of equip) has an attack of 258. Could be higher if you use +1 or give up one of the precious Acc+ spots for STR+. At lv.53, my attack will be 273 instead of 253, assuming I don't end up getting the valk mask I'm farming for before then.

If you don't have sniper rings you are a gimp.

If you level without mithkabobs and sniper rings, you are wasting your PT's time and lowering DRK's reputation even further.

Your armor has nothing to do with it.

i hate seeing all melees still useing they're af weapons at lvl 50ish, most melees can replace it like 3 levelsa fter they getit, worse to date, goon (i refuse to call any goon a dragoon until they've proven themselves at least a bit) still useing they're af spear at lvl 52, unacceptable, also i don't know about your servers but beetle earings+1 are like 8k on my server, any dps class w/o 2 of these or better at least gets a sideways glance

Booting you is a bit harsh. I wouldn't have done that. Probably gave you a shot, and if the XP is ok, I'll keep the party going for a while, if not, disband early. Just the courtesy that once you invite someone, unless he does something horrably wrong, I don't kick him. But I would make a note of your equipment, and probably wouldn't place you as my top choice when comes to DRKs.

Because in all honesy, the equipment you describe is outdated. You are wearing Lv 40 armor, and not the good Lv 40 armor at that. And you don't have a sniper ring either. While a sniper ring isn't a must if you have great armor everywhere else (like +12 dex), it becomes a problem if your have poor armor in addition to no sniper ring.

Weapon wise, you didn't say what you were using. But if what others guessed are true, that you are still using AF, then that's outdated. And that's even more important than armor. And if you do have Barbarian Scythe, the -5 Acc means all the more reason for you to have up to date armor. Or else you will be missing a lot, especially against IT. If you can't keep up TP, you can't renkei, fight will last longer, more damage will be taken, meaning the party will suffer.

If 20-30k is alot to you at that lvl im sorry to say you plain suck.
I put lvling aside for 2 damn weeks (and i did it the hard way, only farming mobs no NMS, BCNM cept 2 days wasted on argus, stay away from that piece of ****) to get my gear which is worth 800k+ and i expect others to at least have the basic gear for their lvl.

I say, play how you wanna play. It's not lame by any means, I'm sure you will become more skilled through this and when you get your AF you will laugh, and be happy that finally the stupid people who booted have no reason to.

lvl55 Royal Guard armor is way better (only good piece from AF is the helmet)

Maybe they were jealous that you were such a good drk without equipment, it made them mad that they must rely on good equips for them to be good

I dont care if you are the U in UBER without proper gear it could as well be a 2yo behind that screen cuz you just gonna suck.



I'm sorry if I put you down i dont intend that its just that im so tired off all these excuses not to get up to date armor and weapons. One cant agrue that being a good player is all that matters cuz really without proper armor and weapons you WILL suck no matter if your player skills are capped at 999.
