So what are you going to do now?

Got a couple of questions.

1.Are you working on getting Adaman Hauberk or Haubergeon +1?

2.What macros should I have for a 60+DRK/THF,and what combos should I have?...I was thinking something like this....sneak+trick+souleater+lastresort+spiralhell onto the PLD! Is that good or should I lose the last resort?

3.In your faq you said in terms of damage RNG always wins and then the order is DRK,then DRG,and SAM,if I was DRK/THF would I still do more damage then DRG/SAM or DRG/WAR or SAM/WAR?

4.If you were lvl 75 and the party ask you to bring along a GS instead of a scythe...would you bring that lvl 70 GS for DRK only..called Balmung and it has 5+acc and 15+att?

5.It seems the more ppl play drk/sam the less of them there are..do yhou think drk/sam is not worth trying more and more as well...Cause I have not played sam.. but I do not like polearms or great katanas^^...so If it is mostly useless I would rather just lvl THF and forget about sam.

6.Is there any Armor out that is better than haubergeon+1 or hauberk or adaman hauberk? Because Adaman Hauberk looks stupid!

7.Does Hauberk look exactly the same as adaman hauberk?

It takes a real commitment to get to lvl 75 in this game, going through 5 genkai's which are all hell.

So along with being 75 he got some questions...showing im very excited to hear from a max level drk!

Well, first off I need to get me some buffer exp, prolly 1 more PT will do it. Next I'm in debt 400k and my last BC bombed, so I'ma have to work that off After that, war sub to 37, cuz it R t3h gimp atm... Sometime along if the opportunities arise I'll finish w/ my missions. Dynamis doesn't interest me yet. I'm not gonna care about it until people are winning it all the time without dying 2000 times, cuz exp penalty is a bitch. Oh yeah, I need to skill 1h sword for spirits within >.>

After that I'm gonna play a diff job. I've totally played out the damage dealer part, time to go towards another direction. Prolly WHM, because verm is t3h sexy. Yeah, that'll be my next target. WHM w/ verm :D

Anyhow, I'm gonna take it easy for a bit. It's been a long road, and I'm gonna take a well-deserved break, heh. Maybe update the faqs, cuz with all the latest updates they're totally out of it.

1.Adaman hauberk no. Not worth the time and effort. Geon+1 maybe if the prices even out, but I'm not gonna go outta my way for one.

2.60+ you should have guillo, stun, last resort, sneak+trick, souleater, blood weapon if need be, bash. All other spells i do by hand, not worth wasting macro space for those IMO. Have a macro for spamming TP, etc, and for fishing. As for WS, I personally have guillo, sickle moon, "Light" which i alternate between ground strike and spin, and "Dark" where i switch between cross and spiral, depending on how much TP I have (basically, if you have 200% or more TP, the new quest WS's will do more damage, under that spin and cross are still better). Also going to need an arcane circle macro at the higher levels when you start fighting weapons again.

3.60~65 is questionable, but after that, I really pity DRG and SAM. They really have nothing to offer after that point. On arcana monsters, DRK doesn't lose that much to RNG even w/ THF sub using 2h sword. I think with WAR sub spamming guillo, DRK might even do more than RNG on arcana, but the skillchain damage missing would probably end up slowing down the group. Previously, Sidewinder did like 2x the damage of guillo, and that was that. Endgame, arching arrow and heavy shot do relatively the same as spinslash, except spinslash secures hate, rng does more on consistent damage, but souleater completely turns the tables. Then rng pulls out barrage... but DRK stuns the monsters, preventing that gayass group-stun move of weapons, and can bust out circle on the harder golems.

Endgame, I think the best classes to be would be PLD, DRK, RNG, or MNK. Everything else gets kinda shafted.

4.I bought a mithril heart (hence my 400k of debt >.>), which has the same base stats as balmunk. I'd never care so much for it, unless my HNM LS gave it to me, which isn't likely since I don't play that much. Mithril heart is good for me. That thing is so damn shiny in the light it's like a fucking lightsaber ><bbb

5.THF sub is better, SAM sub is just a bit more fun I suppose. I guess from 60~65 it would be good for THF parties, as you can guillo inbetween (Vorpal scythe is simply inferior, but you'll need it anyhow), and that avoid attack move is really good if THF has to sneak+trick behind you. If there's one sub to skip and never level though, it's prolly SAM sub.

6.For DRK not really. You can try Byrnie, which sacrifices the Acc part for a little more Attack, but it's just an orange version of hauberk, fugly POS.

7.Adaman hauberk looks kinda gay cuz the gunmetal parts of hauberk are now light blue, and the purple parts are still purple. If the purple parts were the parts that were changed in color, it would look OK, but as it is it looks totally fucked up. I think the only people who have it on Rag don't even wear it in town because it looks so gay.

Congradulations on the 75! Great job out there, and thanks for some sage advice.

Just a quick question: Is it very important to have an up to date WHM sub? Just because there were 2 instances where I have been asked by 2 different JP parties if I have the sub. And I have been helped more than once by HL DRKs w/ WHM sub. Just curious if it is something expected of you in late levels.

Having to Lv my WAR, THF, SAM already (and have to suffer the newbies in all the dreaded low Lv areas), having to Lv WHM just doesn't sound too appealing to me.
