Alright, yo, here da dealio...

To perhaps put an end to all this talk of which subjobs "work," I've decided to conduct a poll. It's very simple... just list any subjobs for Dark Knight that you deem "acceptable," and in the end, I'll compile a list of job/sub combos that are considered acceptable by the people on these boards. If someone asks about a certain combo, you can refer them there if you like.

How you pick the combos doesn't matter. You can choose combos based on what you would play, whether or not you would invite a character with that combo into your PT, draw names from a hat, or whatever... it's your prerogative.

Combos that recieve a certain number of votes (undecided for now) will be listed and ranked according to popularity of vote.

Hate to be a dick, but there are already plenty of threads in the DRK forums concerning this issue. Awntatwn's guides have in depth info on subs; which ones work, which ones dont, and which to choose for your specific party setup. Just read those guides, i mean hes lvl 73 or something crazy like that, and he knows what the hell hes talking about, just read it. Stop making all these subjob threads.

and like the previous reply, this topic of which subjob to pick for a drk has been beaten to death, if you want to find out what's acceptable, do your own research and read all threads in here and write up your own guide if you choose to, don't ask others to do your hw for you, plus if you claim to be smart and elite as you are like in your other message thread in the main Race forum, this isn't the most scientific way since not everyone will reply to put in their 2cents.

I assume you are talking about XP PT subs that are "acceptable" so: These are lined up according to the order I would invite these sub jobs if they were all seeking.

War - Classic drk knight setup, boosts melee attacks
Thf - Hate management, extra SC damage.
Blm - boosts magic attacks and mp
Redmage - not really necessary in pt but hey.
Whm - see above

Well, again, thanks to those of you who have given info. Anyone who says to check the Sticky posts, I will do, and just count that as a vote from one person, but I still need input from many people for accuracy's sake. It's also fine if every DRK in this forum tells me to check the sticky. I'll just count them all as votes for whatever that sticky says.

A voting poll would be pretty rough as far as I can see... listing every combo and having people vote individually for each one would be somewhat impractical. If people don't want to respond, they don't have to, but it doesn't take much more work to create a simple list than to click in a few boxes, so I'm not going to bother speculating which method would arouse the interest of more players.

All you are doing is spamming for the sake of spamming. I guess because you didn't like being proven wrong in that other thread? Seriously, does every single inane combo need to be discussed ad nauseum. I mean daily there is always someone posting some really stupid job combo question, its tiring and really just a waste of space.

Here is a tip for people who can't decide whats effective and what is not : do a /sea all 60-75 of whatever job it is, and count the number of different combos people are using. Generally the majority of those people have one of the "ideal" combos, few of them are using a stupid sub job, if any.

Picking a sub job isn't hard. You pick another job which has the most useful abilities to compliment your role in a party. If you want to pick a good combination, great. If you want to be unique or whatever, fuck off, stay in Qufim with the other short bus riders who want to do what they want to do "because its fun".

Anyways-- it's pretty simple. If you would be so kind as to give me even just a simple list of subjobs you would approve of, or even tell me to check a sticky, then that's all I'm asking for.

If not, well, I'm not going to stop this study, so you can either waste our time by posting something else, or just ignore it.

This is the most idiotic and ignorant study I have ever seen.

In all the other threads you admit you don't even care if the opinions are valid or right, you just want random opinions.
