Level 30 Bastok Conquest Armor?

Just a short question here,

Is the level 30 Bastok CP armor worth spending CP to get? Or would I be better off saving the CP for later on and buying something else from gilfarming?

Alternatively, would RSE armor be worth going after instead of either? I'm a galka so I have very low mp, and I noticed the RSE gear has a lot of +mp on it, though not much else...

I recently bought 3 pieces of RSE gear. My main class combo is PAL/WAR, but also like use DRK/WAR, PAL/NIN and DRK/NIN for fun when not the main tank...the thought of getting Gluttony and Bloody Blade makes me tingly~

ANYWAY...

I gained about 90 mana and lost about 15 defense from replacing armor. With fish kabobs and protect II, I used to have 251 defense at level 34 and with the RSE gear had 229 (defense bonus makes armor defense worth more).

I got a new hole ripped in me by the mobs I was hunting in the Citidel (Bats & Beatles near entrance). By losing 22 defense

I don't suggest RSE gear if you plan on tanking, if not, then have at it.

From lvl 27 to 40

I wore mostly RSE except the glove for Elvaan b/c of the added +dex, i didn't care about the lost in DEF and actually was very happy about it b/c everytime they asked if i can tank, i tell them no b/c of my RSE armor but i'll be hitting more accurately

I hate tanking as a Dark Knight.

no, nothing is worth using ur cp for rank 1-3, save ur cp and just farm for money. if ur really pressed for gil, and do EF regularly, then go for it. getting cp at higher lvls is a bitch.

It's much better to save your cp for rank 6 stuff, if you can afford to buy the armor from AH you should do that instead.
