I just got a silly little idea and figured I'd share. I've heard a lot of drks saying they are having problems lvling multiple weapons, usually GS and Scythe. Several seem to be stuck with their weapon lvls low because their drk lvl is too high to cause the skill to go up. Well, this may or may not work, and I'd like to find out if it could, and why not if it can't.
Would it be possible to just switch your class in order to lvl the skills again? It'd be a REAL pain, but if you're truly stuck, maybe it can work things out? For instance, You're a lvl 40 drk/war. Your GS skill is falling behind while you've managed to keep your Scythe capped. Finally it comes to a point where your GS has stopped lvling against the current monsters you're facing. You could switch back to your lvl 20 or so war sub, making it your main, and go for monsters at that lvl, using the GS.
For lvling your GS, you could change to your lower lvl war, or get the pld job and switch to that. For your Scythe, you could also use the war, or get the bst job instead. Again, I know it'd be a pain, but it could get you out of a pickle.
It seems like it would work, but I think what might cause a problem would be if the different class caps GS, or Scythe, lower then drk, and you can't quite raise it in the way I'm thinking. Not to mention you've screwed yourself if you've lvled your war, pld, or bst too high.
Seeing as how I've managed to keep both my GS and my Scythe capped, I don't have this problem. Lucky me :spin: Still, this method could help some of you out there who didn't quite follow the path I did (weapon-wise). Once again, I'd like to know if this could even work. I havn't tried thos myself for obvious reasons, so go ahead and share your thoughts.
