Damage over time (in regards to Subs)

I know that unleashing mass damage in most practical PT situations is not the way to go in terms of efficiency for the group, as well as agro issues, but..

Hypothetically, if a PT had 3 Drk, 1 Drk/Sam, 1 Drk/Thf, 1 Drk/War, speaking strictly in terms of maximum damage potential "over time", which of the 3 would procure the most dmg.

(Assuming each of the Drk's had subs maxxed, were 60+ (I know lvl base aspect would be very important in terms of each sub based on abil), and say identical/optimal equips).

well if no renkei was involved at all /WAR would do the most dmg over time.

IMO, the /sam would pull off the most damage. With such potential for WS with the /sam, a drk could be pulling off major damage. At 60+, he would have Guillotine and would most likely be able to use it after every 4 or 5 hits on the mob. Using Guillotine that many times, especially with Soul Eater, Last Resort, and the such, would really pile on the damage. More so than Berzerk and Double Attack anyway.

In the case of aggro, spamming WS like this would get you killed...and fast. But we're talking strictly damage right?

This is just my take on the question, but it doesn't mean that I'm right. What does a lvl like me know about drks anyway :sweat:, right? Still, I'm curious to see what others have to say.

from what i've seen with Drk/War and Drk/Thf(haven't seen any Drk/Sam yet), War sub deals more damage over time, Thf sub deals more damage in large bursts.

i put my money on drk/sam. y? i was leveling and another pt with lvl 59-60 were leveling next to us. i turned off the chat filter to check how good that drk is. lets just say every i see guillotine every 20-30secs doing from 300-900. and i dont see him gaining as much hate as i thought he would. i guess that pld was really good.

Just me, i'd go for the /Sam... tp out of the roof + guiliotine over and over... If only you could use the Sam's 2 hour :D

Seems to me that a /Sam would have to hold back alot more if you don't want to die. /War seems like the sub that does the most damage over time with berserk which doesn't cause hate unlike last resort /Thf helps to transfer the hate and to do a one hit damage that hurts
