Demonslicer a good investment? Please help.

I'm thinking of buying the Demonslicer cuz I'm a level away from 55. And when I think about it, there's no reason for me to blow 200k on it.... I mean, the Barbarian Scythe has a few points of damage higher and it has that crucial +25 on Attack.... So, besides the 480 delay and looking bad ass, is there any reason to upgrade from Barbarian Scythe to Demonslicer? Blow 200k or stick with Barb Scythe and buy another Snipers Ring with the money?

Demonslicer is for war and bst; it's a reaper-class (tho it looks like vassago XD), meaning not good for drk.
