lvlin up GS skill...?

I knew this was gonna happen yet I didn't use a GS (doh!)...some weapon skill was gonna come along for GS that'd make DRK desirable, which happens to be the 225 skill, and my skill is 60, yes, I have the skill of a lvl 19 with GS... ._.

what are some ways to skill up efficiantly? >.>

go to yuhtunga and kill mandragoras/gobbies... that should raise you to 100, after get a workercrawler near zone at crawlers nest and beat it before it dies/zone beat it before dies/zone thats how i brought my g.sword up ^^ but after 106 it kinda gets hard.. i'm having trouble thinking of places to lvl it up.:confused:

I thought GS was a big waste of money so I didn't persue it.

btw, if your war is lv30, you can sling a GS on ya and go tank in yhoator jungle. your attacks won't matter since you'll be tanking. it should at least lv up GS bit while lving up your sub.


hmmm....then after that, it comes down to using it in battle and preying your party won't mind your gimpness with GS.

but you can always try to form your own skill up parties. this is probably the best thing to do.

If your already not in this situation...I would recommend just lvling it up as the cap becomes able to raise it higher...so...as you lvl...

I am doing this now....my Scythe is, obviously, maxed....so...whenever Im in Yhoator jungle I just switch out to my GS for a bit...use a WS...switch back to scythe a bit....then back to GS...my party usually doesn't mind...cuz I do about the same dmg with both...slightyl less with GS...but the delay is shorter so...

Works out for them, and gets me skill in GS...Im happy. ^^

Around the 50's there are buttloads of coffer key/skill-up shouts, I recommend you utilize these to cap out boths skills as high as you can. To get to 225, try joining proof shouts (or go to Tu'Lia skill up parties, but you gotta do up to zilart m13 :sweat: )

I was getting rather frustrated leveling both GS and Scythe. Not to mention the fact that its expensive. However, after reading this post......i'm glad i'm doing it. I really can't keep both capped at the moment but i'm keeping them both just under the cap. Hope that suffices.

I found that I could keep both capped (or at least only 1 level away from bieng capped) starting at level 30. I was using both GS and Scythe from level 1 however....

lol, i turned lv 37 and my scythe isn't even capped

this never happned before, scythe is the ONLY weapon i use.

Socrates, well since your skillcaps raise each time you level up, the moment you ding 37 your skill is definetely not capped ^^ so don't worry about it.

As for me, i kept Great Sword capped along with scythe till 49 when i got Vorpal Scythe to replace my Power Slash. I still hate vorpal Scythe with a vengeance, but oh well, the GS skill is lagging at 156 from lack of usage.

Must... get... spinning... slash... and... cross... reaper...
