am DRK Lv 30 and WAR sub job Lv 15, i was in PT with THF lvl 33 we was at Yhoator jungle fighting VT - IT mobs.

at IT i did "souleater+last resort+berserk" the dmg was 111 but i miss 4 time even i have damn nice items for dex
"2 balance ring, mer ca belt, magna glove, spike neklace,centurion helm"

but the THF did 300~350 Dmg by "sneak+trick+viper bite" even the mobs was VT - IT to him.

can any one tell me why his dmg damn soooo high? even if i get lvl 33 still he will get high dmg

the Dmg for the mobs was 135 not 111 >.<

If it's IT to you then it was probably VT to him, where the theif would hit a lot easier than you. Sneak + trick attack do massive damage which would WAY outshine souleater + berzerk

Think of things this way A2U - his Viper Bite is a one shot deal. If you landed all 5 of your Soul Eater - you would hit for 500avg.

hate to sayt it man but your a DRK, its destiny to miss. Oh and of course he would do more damage than you, he is better suited being 3 lvls higher and still checking them IT, you are not supposed to be fightin those mobs yet.

well missing all 4 swings was just probably bad luck

me being an elvan and when i was at lvl30 in that jungle fighting IT mandoragos, having almost similar equip as u except for the balance ring, i have the royal glove that gives me +2acc, i don't miss that often against IT mandoragas

and in one fight with all 3 attack buffed up, i did a total of 600dmg+ in the whole fight, my whole pt was asleep (cept me and the mage), i was able to kill the thing on my own pretty much

When i hit lvl33, i headed over to East Altepo and that's when I started missing a lot more against the IT beetles. Even though I miss a lot, my hard hit did a lot of dmg to it.

the higher the lvl of the mob, the more evasion the mob has. that is why you miss so much. getting the royal gloves that give +2 to accuracy helps very much. another thing to worry about is your combat skills. if the weapon your using is not maxed out, you will miss a great deal more. DEX is not the answer, get accuracy + items.

we accumulate the most net damage in a fight (save rangers)

don't be too concerned with 1 (or 2 if the mob is tough enough) numbers the thief may get in a fight

Think of it this way: thf does damage in big chunks. you do damage over time. if you can do ~same damage as thf by the end of the battle, you've served your purpose. @ lvl 40 i've done berserk + souleater + slice for ~200 damage. thf sneak+tricks out his viper bite for 533. but his resulting hits after only gonna do ~10-20, where as yours ~100-150. I don't know what to tell you about the acc, you're an elvann? Get +acc items, if you can afford them, archer's rings. if you're still having trouble, find a bard

I donno, I did Souleater+Last Resort+Sneak Attack+Slice and did some nice damage, several times. Lowest I got was about 230hp, and that's what I had most of the party.
