if you see high lv use 2 ears 3agi+3agi thats 6agi

    6agi=3eva

wtf with them there is ear give you 3eva so 3eva+3eva
    thats 6eva better than 3eva(6agi)

    i still dont think think that 2agi = 1eva

    Main : Sephiro
    Mules : Sephira Eviljin Sephon
    COP missions = Complated

      my latest discovery

66+ drk/thf with spinslash is like... the easiest route for DRK, in terms of getting invites and the EXP in parties (plain english, it's damn nice)

+AGI and +DEX might help you a bit more because sneak+trick nearly double spinslash damage
How does AGI and DEX correspond to sneak/trick attack? I think i heard that more AGI = more sneak dmg, but not sure if there's any truth.

Can someone explain importance of AGI/DEX for sneak/trick attack while thf is subbed?

when using w/ a thf sub, both stats have nothing to do w/ sneak/trick dmg. only main thf gets bonus from those stats. meaning, when used as a sub, sneak is critical+100% hit only, and trick only puts the hate onto the tank.

nevertheless, like Awntawn says, it'll considerbly increase the ws dmg, that drk/thf is a preferred choice over thf after lvl 66. i even feel sorry for thf coz shark bite isn't so strong...

oh, btw, here's another one who uses AGI+ earrings. mainly to reduce the chance of being hit critically. not to mention i also use rings that have AGI+ bonuses along w/ others.

why would a melee want to kill his evasion? i mean, i can see why they wouldnt CARE if it was lowerd by equipment, but are you saying they should go out of their way to make it lower?
In the higher levels, in a party with a good PLD, they won't have to worry about getting attacked directly. So they opt to lower evasion/defense and the like in order to boost attack/accuracy.

Well then things are starting to make sense. If AGI helps you avoid getting hit with a critical attack, then when you have soul eater + last resort + berserk...you have less of a chance to get one shotted.

yes, i understand why a DRK wouldnt NEED evasion or defense, but the way awntawn worded it, it made it seem like drk's go OUT OF THEIR WAY to lower evasion. Read: a ring with -20 evasion is beneficial in some way.

I guess i worded my question poorly.
              hi

There is another secret about AGI. It determins how much Critical hits you receive from mobs. Yes this is true in fact I read this from the Japanese boards. According to their test they receive much less crits from mobs when equiped with high AGI gear.

Thanks for the attempt at helping but...

....this is no secret. It has been stated in this thread multiple times. Have you even read the thread?

Agi is for TRICK ATTACK DAMAGE modifier.

Those dragoons or darknights who are wearing those +3 agi earrings are using them for TRICK ATTACK.

Nothing is better at controlling aggro when dragoons use Penta Thrust or Darknights using Giliteen with Trick Attack. Neither of those class wants to get beat.

As to why Paladins use those drone earrings? No idea. They can't evade even if their diety requires it.

like i said in the above post, having more agi does NOT affect the damage of trick attack for NON-main thf's. trick attack for jobs w/ thf sub is only to put hate onto another party member. no damage bonus.

and the reason why pld's want agi is to avoid being hit critically. u can also find this in my above post.

I've noticed that AGI affects Parry, Block, Evade rates along with their respective skills (I mean why wouldn't it, all of the other abilities have stats tied to them). I parry and block a lot more with extra AGI than without them myself. Oh and less criticals of course =P.

How ironic. I made it into jueno first time yesterday and i saw bunches of DRKS in full af at the AH.. so i "examined" a few:p
