Would like Dark Knight more if...

I would really be into the Dark Knight job if the Scythes looked as cool as some of the Great Swords. Only in later levels do I see a scythe that looks cool, those black ones. The Dark Knight AF is the most badass looking armor I think. I would have no doubts about going Dark Knight if the Great Sword WSs didn't suck so bad.

Would like to know is there any redeeming qualitys to Dark Knight that may make me want to play one with no doubts.

Can solo against the arcane quite nicely. The demon helm looks crazy cool, using black magic is damned fun. Vassago's Scythe, Demon Slicer and Death Scythe look cool, too bad they all have the same shell. Great swords look lame too, only Balmunk looks cool and its impossible to get that. I just picked it because I always loved using Darkness, its just..defines me in real life /inside joke. heh heh heh

Balmunk is not impossible, i aws told that it showed up in the AH in jueno o0n Midgard.

It is impossible to aquire that sword because A) The HNM Dragon Fafnir is so hard to fight that only the cream of the HNM LSs can actually kill it and 2) The drop rate of the sword is rare. Items that valueable do not come around often, yes you will see them in AH but either the seller history will be 1 guy showing off that he has the item by selling it to himself for 1gil or it will have 0 sellers.
