Hey Kumaeru! It's Cailo, i'm in SS too. Glad SS is still around. Anyway, back to topic. A lot of people have complained about how the black mage AF looks. They say it looks just like normal robe armor. I think its ok, but if they complain just tell em too look at BLM JSE! It looks sooooo cool. A black and red cloak! It's stats are great too

This thread doesn't seem to be going anywhere, but it's hot and is named Hurrah for BLM. I totaly agree with that title, so how bout this. Give some reasons you love blm. Especialy since there are so many negative BLM postings on this forum. My reason for loving blm? Our versatility rocks! With whm subbed you get soooo many cool spells from both classes. I wont list them here, you all should know and love them by now. Oh, and if you want to post a negative thread, go to the other posts for that. I'm really getting tired of it.

well, i like black mage cause i'm still a lvl 14 red mage working my way up to the subjob quest then i'll be going black mage, i always want really bad what i cant get yet :X
other then that i think i'll love black mage cause i like casting the elemental spells i get as a red mage and sitting back casting spells is always fun. plus i just love the how the tunics look, for some reason *shrug*

I like BLM because I have the freedom to cast the spells I like, at the pace I like, without any real pressure. I HATE the responsiblility that comes with being main healer (dread leveling WHM again). If I mess up, if I'm too slow, somebody dies. Not a burden I want.

I had hoped RDM would be my main job, I like being able to heal and debuff and join the skillchain with a MB. Refresh/Convert looked really cool too. But as a RDM I was almost always main healer anyways, with a small MP pool. Even when I wasn't, party leaders that told me NOT to use my debuffs or nukes and to just heal and melee "to save MP" just ticked me off. The melee part of RDM isn't what attracted me to the job... unlike many I now see. At least as a BLM nobody has ever complained about my performance... as long as I'm not out of MP and getting aggro every 10 seconds (more like every 10 minutes :p) people seem to accept me.

And I've gotten to love seeing the BIG numbers in my damage report. Something a RDM would not see for a long time. :p

Well I just hate BLMs because........You know what....I can't do it.....I wanted to so I could piss off C but I just cant >_< BLM is by far my favorite job in the game! They are awsome and can dish out MEGA DMG when in the higher lvs! I love BLMs and it pisses me off at the amount of BLM hate threads that are on here! BLM is awsome! And I doubt they would be complaining when they are about to die then a BLM comes to save the life with just nuking the crap out od a mob!

I like Black Mages because you have to be aware of your sorrundings, the battle, and what is going on to be an effective Black Mage. You always have to think...

Well its raining, but he is weak to fire, the day is Firesday....I'll use a nuetral nuke see how it goes, and a pie to help out the resistence; I'll try fire to see if the Rain didn't nerf it too much

What other class has that going through there head every attack?

Here are some good reasons to be a black mage and some reasons to be other classes too.

I'm a black mage I cast spells that make people fall down.-Black mage
I've got black magig, a hair trigger, and a short fure. Bring it!-Black mage
Blast a highly populatered area into ashes, blame it on Fighter, and run like hell?-Black mage
