  • Magic Attack Bonus

I have a question that afew people in my LS are debating. Does the "Magic Attacks Bonus" trait from /rdm affect that of Black Mage's? What I mean is, does RDM's MAB enhance BLM's spell or does BLM's MAB cancel RDM's MAB trait out?
In the moonlight, your face it glows.. like a thousand diamonds, I suppose.
And your hair flows like.. The ocean breeze...
Not a million fights could make me hate you, you’re invincible.
    Yeah, It’s true.
It’s in your eyes, where I find peace.

They don't stack as far as I know. So you only get the MAB from BLM.

It's the same ability (trait, whatever) so they don't stack. If they did BLM/RDM would be the standard combination.

Why is it that Black Mages get 3 or 4 stacking scores of this, then? MAB lv10, 30, 50, and 70. If the Black Mage can get multiple MAB job traits then why wouldn't the one from /rdm stack with it?

I think its because you get MAB I, MAB II, MAB III from BLM. /RDM you also get MAB I, MAB II (or however many you get). Since MAB I and MAB I are the same thing, they don't stack. Whereas the traits from the same job are 1, 2, 3, etc. they are considered to be independent traits and stack appropriately. (I think this also works the same as RNG/DRG, RNG doesnt get any extra accuracy or vice versa.)
